Ground works for extension

We can not recommend Mark and his team highly enough and we will be using them again as they provide an exceptional service. Mark arrived on time every time. He spent a significant time inspecting the site, provided the most reasonable quote and every aspect of our job was exactly as Mark explained it would be. Mark gave us advice regarding drainage that saved us thousands of pounds. He and his team also allowed three excited children to ask numerous questions and even allowed a digger mad 2 year old to sit on the digger, which made his day. We are currently saving to get Mark and the team back to do the driveway. We have recommended Mark to family and friends and they are equally pleased with the service he provided.

Extension groundworks

We used Mark for our extension and have no regrets at all. We have a young family which often showed interest in the diggers , but mark and his crew were great always having time to talk to them and letting our digger mad 2 year old have a ride. cheapest quote we had , top quality work and always happy to give advice. We would recommend to anyone that needs work doing. We will be using again.

Excellent, professional and friendly

Wow. Amazing service from first contact to end of project. Significant ground works for an extension and landscaping (with diggers) completed. Quote from Mark was the most reasonable we had - usually a concern but his knowledge was extensive and we felt confident they were the team for us and we were not wrong. Mark gave advice that saved us thousands of pounds. Mark and his team were punctual, polite, excellent time keepers, great with curious children, hard working and extremely skilled. Very happy with the service - second to none. Would recommend to anyone - saving to get Mark back to do the drive!

Excellent, professional and friendly

Mark and his team were excellent and we would recommend his services to anyone. Mark Pike Plant Hire and Groundworks is a family service. From the first telephone call to the end of the job we were extremely happy. Mark provided the most competitive quote we received, this may not always be a positive sign but Mark's knowledge of ground working was extensive and we felt confident that he was the man for the job and we were not disappointed.During the course of our job (ground working for a significant extension) Mark was able to make recommendations that saved thousands of pounds, these ideas were supported by our architect and building control.Some of the ideas he recommended were not even linked to ground working and he went above and beyond to support us in making positve decisions about wet floor showering and drainage for the entire property. The team arrived on time, were neat, tidy and had time to answer every question 3 curious children would throw at them! Family, friends, neighbours, our builder, and our architect were all impressed with the service we received. So much so that our brother used Mark to resurface their drive. The final bill was exactly as we expected with no hidden surprises and the work finished at the time we expected. As a final note and this probably will not be relevant to most - the driving skills of the team are absolutely amazing. We live up an extremely narrow lane and sometimes white van men complain about how tight it is. Mark and Jamie Pike reversed huge tractors with trailers and extremely large diggers that touched either side of the lane and still made it look easy - first time every time!! Very impressive indeed! The drive needs replacing and we will be using Mark to complete the job. First class service.
